Paralia Katerinis is a cosmopolitan beach, with clean sand and friendly shallow sea, stretching for many kilometres. It has been being awarded the European Blue Flag for many years. Wide and sandy, it attracts a great number of visitors every summer. With the imposing existence of Mount Olympus in the vicinity, paired with Pieria, the mountain housing the Muses in antiquity, Paralia is also a good starting point to visit all the sights of the hinterland of the county.
