Takhar or Tukhar or Tushar is gotra of Jats found in Rajasthan in India. People belonging to this gotra are Muslim Jats also in the Western Punjab and they claim to belong to Tanwar dynasty. This proves that Tanwar, Tukhar and Tushar are one and the same.
