Vladimir Oblast
Vladimir Oblast (Russian: Влади́мирская о́бласть) is a federal subject of Russia (an oblast). Its administrative center is the medieval Russian capital Vladimir, which is 190 km to the east from the present-day capital, Moscow. The 12th-century cathedrals of Vladimir, Suzdal, Bogolyubovo and Kideksha are inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Vladimir Oblast borders Moscow, Yaroslavl, Ivanovo, Ryazan, and Nizhny Novgorod Oblasts.
