Guelma Province (Wilaya of Guelma) (capital : City of Guelma) (Arabic : ولاية قالمة ) is a wilaya in eastern Algeria. Its civilians suffered heavy casualties during the 1945 Setif massacre by the French Army.

It is the home region of Houari Boumédienne, President of Algeria.

Guelma (Arabic: قالمة) is the capital of Guelma Province (ولاية قالمة) in north-east Algeria, at about 40 kilometers from the coast.
