Vayots' Dzor
Vayots' Dzor (Armenian: Վայոց Ձորի մարզ) is one of the provinces (marz) of Armenia. It lies in the south-east of the country, bordering Azerbaijan, and covers an area of 2,308 km². With a population of only 55,997 (2001 census), it is the most sparsely populated province in the country. The capital is Yeghegnadzor. It is famed for the wines produced in the area.
