Location of Pemagatshel dzongkhag within BhutanPemagatshel, previously Pemagatsel, is one of the 20 dzongkhag (districts) comprising Bhutan.

Pemagatshel is divided into seven gewogs/ A gewog (Dzongkha "block") refers to a group of villages in Bhutan and thus forms an intermediate geographic administrative unit between village and dzongkhag/:Chhimung Gewog ;Chongshing Borang Gewog ;Dungme Gewog ;Khar Gewog ;Shumar Gewog ;Yurung Gewog ;Zobel Gewog.
